Die 2006 gegründete Band Gum Bleed aus Peking, dem kulturellen und politischen Zentrum Chinas, eroberte schnell die Underground-Szene und etablierte sich als zentrale Kraft der chinesischen Jugendkultur. Gum Bleed verbinden politisches Bewusstsein und metaphorische Lyrik mit einer energiegeladenen Mischung aus Punk, Hardcore, Rock und Thrash zu einem klassischen und überzeugenden Sound. Ihre beeindruckende Diskographie umfasst drei Alben, vier EPs und zahlreiche Compilations.

Gum Bleed stehen seit 18 Jahren an der Spitze der Entwicklung des chinesischen Punks.
